ABOUT JEN ELISE
Jen is a screenwriter with a lifelong instinct for storytelling, shaped by a vivid cinematic imagination and a career in performance.
Her background spans Olympic-level Gymnastics, tertiary training in Dance, and Musical Theatre, with credits including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Witches of Eastwick, and Singapore’s Chang & Eng (Lead Role), alongside work with The Wiggles and television commercials. This performance-led foundation shapes her strong sense of character, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
Encouraged to pursue screenwriting, Jen completed a “Writing for Hollywood” course and graduated with a Certificate III in Screen & Media (Screenwriting) at TAFE, where she trained under Dr Ben Crisp and Tim Ferguson.
Today, screenwriting is her true passion. Her work spans mystical folklore, quirky Australian Christmas stories, and high-concept sci-fi, united by emotionally grounded, entertaining narratives designed to connect with wide audiences.
